----------------------------------------------------------

Graduation has come at last at Redbright Institute and with the exciting occasion of the senior students finally completing their education at the school it also happens to herald in the arrival of families, friends, and loved ones.

Living or not.

So far it seems only Clara fits that specific latter category as she arrives at the location where the graduation is being held on this fine and sunny day, spotting no other spirit so far. She doesn't mind being by herself once again, taking the time to admire in the activity and the bustle of the nervous students and the excited families and laughing friends. The feelings in the air were undeniable as people took pictures or filmed the important occasion: Excitement, joy, and pride.

She felt all three of them today. Clara was excited to see her little girl look so dignified and serious in her robes before breaking out in a large smile. Clara was joyful to see her sit among her classmates, cap on her head and looking every inch the girl Tonyo and Maja would be no doubt proud of while she clapped for her classmates and cheered for her friends as they got on stage to get their diploma and shake hands with the dean.

Most importantly of all Clara was then proud, so proud, while she finally watches her granddaughter march up the stage herself to receive her degree and her First Class Honours, her friends and classmates cheering the young girl on for her achievement.

Despite a hiccup a few months back, her grades were stellar and her behaviour exemplary (most of the time) and today it was noted and honoured.

While she may not have a camera, Clara likes to think she could never forget an occasion like this.

Magra, in her robes, looked both proud and overwhelmed as she talked to her friends about something. It seemed quite important. Better join, so to speak, and see what's going on.

"… and I got a lot of options," she heard her granddaughter say, "like Tokyo. I heard renting there is a nightmare and my Japanese isn't the best. There's Hong Kong since eating and stuff over there is easier on my wallet but again I heard fees there are crazy. Going to the U.S. is an option too since moving there won't be a total headache and you're going there, Nat! That's a total bonus."

…. What? Tokyo? Hong Kong?

Clara's brow furrowed, wondering what this talk is all about because it sounds a lot like--

"It's such a hassle to pack my stuff," she goes on, "but I'm trying to keep it simple at first, you know? Just the essentials at first and then I have Mr. Henrique send my stuff over the months. I still need a few recommendation letters but I got from Mr. Apollo and Mrs. Thistle. I was thinking of getting one from Ms. Fern too for one. Do you guys think I'm on her good side enough or do I need to do some stuff first like volunteer again for summer?"

"I think you should relax a bit, Mags. You have half a year to do this," a friend of hers points out. "Why are you eager to get this done so soon?"

Her granddaughter, so bright and brilliant and her granddaughter, simply shrugs. "Might as well get everything in order before I leave, right? There isn't much else for me to do besides be a pester to you guys. Hey! I saw that Mer--"

Everything else that is said is, more or less, white noise to Clara as the words slowly register in her at long last.

No one can find her or spot her thanks to her undead status and she's relieved for that. It'll be hard to hide her look of wounded confusion as her granddaughter continues to laugh and joke amongst her friends like what she said hadn't been a big commitment, a large step forward towards her own life and away from her old one.

… Well. She's certain for sure that she won't forget this occasion now. Hahahaha...
